Cinco de Mayo

Are you looking to throw an awesome authentic Mexican Party or Cinco de Mayo celebration?

We've rounded up a few of our fun and essentials for an awesome Mexican party 

We love color. The more the color the better. 







Here's a fun and cute idea to brighten your party, use salsa can's such as "El Pato" brand for vases!

La Comida:



Mole Poblano is a typical and traditional dish served in Puebla. Usually eaten with Turkey but we decided to try it with chicken. If you are local, we buy ours in Utah County. The recipe has ben passed down two generations and it is amazing.

Black Beans w/ Queso Fresco


Quacamole

Pico de Gallo
Chips


Fruit! -Pineapple, watermelon, papaya, cucumbers or mangos 
We love to each out fruit with a little bit of salt, lime juice and some Tajin (a type of chile powder)






Drink

Aguas Frescas- try some nice cold water, crushed ice and different splices of fruit to give it some color and flavor.  

(no sugar required) 

Or some Jarrito's soda which you can find at your local market


Dessert:
Try this delicious Tres Leches Cake my friend Michelle made over at The Sweet Molcajetes  along with other delicious and authentic mexican desserts.
